CHALLENGE
Metrolinx needed to consolidate and modernize its operational command infrastructure into a single high-performance, secure, and integrated Network Operations Centre capable of supporting critical rail transit services, IT systems, building security, and staff coordination across multiple projects.
SOLUTION
Futurebound led the delivery of concurrent infrastructure and integration projects, including core data center systems, secure facility IT and CCTV, user workstations, and audiovisual technologies. Services spanned end-to-end system design, procurement support, stakeholder coordination, install, testing, and transition-to-operations.
RESULT
The Transit NOC went live successfully, delivering a unified platform that supports 24/7 transit network visibility, coordination, and control. The 5MW facility is now equipped with resilient IT infrastructure, integrated building systems, and scalable operational tools—enhancing efficiency, response time, and overall service reliability.
